The service
NestMender provides AI-assisted DIY repair suggestions, step-by-step guides, video links, and related tools for UK home repairs. Guides are generated automatically and are for general information only — they are not professional trade advice.
Your responsibility
- You are responsible for assessing whether a repair is safe and within your skill level.
- Always follow manufacturer instructions, building regulations, and applicable laws. For gas, electrical, structural, or regulated work, use a qualified professional.
- Keep your login credentials secure and do not share your account.
- Provide accurate account information and use the app lawfully.
AI-generated content
Scan results and repair guides may be incomplete or incorrect. Verify critical steps, measurements, and safety precautions before starting work. We do not guarantee outcomes from following a guide.
Subscriptions
- Premium unlocks additional features such as unlimited scans. On iPhone, subscriptions are managed through Apple’s App Store and subject to Apple’s terms and refund policies.
- You can restore purchases and manage subscriptions in the app or via your Apple ID settings.
- Web checkout, where offered, is processed by Stripe under its terms.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, attempt to bypass usage limits, reverse engineer our systems, upload unlawful content, or interfere with other users. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Intellectual property
NestMender branding, app design, and original content are owned by us or our licensors. YouTube and other third-party content remain the property of their respective owners.
Disclaimer
The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for injury, property damage, or losses arising from repairs you undertake.
Account deletion
You may delete your account from within the app. Deletion is permanent and removes your profile, repairs, and associated data as described in our Privacy Policy.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
